Last year, the world was flipped upside down. 2020 was a roller coaster of a year. Every industry was hit with surprises. Just about every country, community, and neighbourhood needed to amend its 2020 plan. Certainly, the same goes for individuals, couples, and families. When the world financially flops, there is bound to be a tremendous ripple effect. Now that we see the vaccines rolling out and society able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, what’s ahead in trends in 2021? In particular, what’s ahead in 2021 about one of my favorite topics, automobile trends. Read about the top three auto trends predicted for this year ahead.
Score bargains used high-end vehicles
The used vehicle market has lots of high-end stock. With many car owners looking to downsize and cut unnecessary expenses, the second vehicle or luxury car has taken a backseat. Many individuals and families got rid of high-end models with very low mileage and in great condition because of financial losses in 2020. You can find the luxury car of your dreams for considerably less than new without the depreciation depression. Check out this great source for a used Bentley in the U.K. 2021 is the year to score bargains on used high-end vehicles regardless of make and model.
Increase in manufacturing electric rides
Electric cars are predicted to triple in Europe in 2021. In the U.S. 75 new models of plug-in or electric rides are planned for 2021. This is in comparison to 59 in 2020. Of course, the trendsetter and leader of the pack is Tesla. However, other electric manufacturers are taking design and functionality to a new level and look like Rivian. For Rivian, every adventure can be electric. Their electric trucks and SUVs are meant for exploring the outdoors, the world around, and even off-the-beaten-path. 2021 is a year where consumers are interested in sustainability. For sure in 2021 green is the new black.
Bigger the better continues to trend
The sales and leases of trucks and SUVs continue to grow. As the world sees vehicles to be like our own private bubble with the pandemic, couples and families are opting for more space and comfort in trucks, vans and SUVs. Likewise, the trend for heading for parks and nature preserves will continue in 2021. So, the romantic getaways and family vacations are going to be road trips; thus, everybody needs a big vehicle to haul the people, luggage and perhaps camping supplies.
2021 will be a year of growth, change and progress. Hopefully, the world has learned quite a few lessons from 2020. Certainly, industries have needed to shift because of the last year and the global pandemic. In 2021 the auto industry is no different. The auto industry will see an increase in pre-owned vehicles, electric rides, trucks and SUVs. Are you ready to take advantage of these auto trends in 2021? It sure seems like a great year to hit the open road in a cool used and/or electric ride.
