Rusty Spur Saloon

Bar in Scottsdale

Cowboy Saloon

It doesn’t look like much from the outside (heck, it doesn’t look like much on the inside either, now that I think about it), but once the bluegrass band starts playing the Rusty Spur transforms into one of the best bars in Old Town Scottsdale.

A favorite amongst locals and celebrities alike, you can still saunter through the weather, swinging saloon doors of the Rusty Spur and pull up a stool at the bar.

I would not recommend asking for a fancy cocktail in the oldest saloon in Scottsdale. The Rusty Spur is a beer and whiskey sort of place, but if you’re looking for your inner cowboy or just an authentic wild-west experience, you’re at the right place.

And while you sip your beer and watch the old-timer cowboys (now in their 80’s) wheel themselves into the bar for a bit of fun, you might get a free history lesson.

The walls are covered in priceless memorabilia from a more rugged time in Arizona, and after 60 years in business, devoted patrons are still making an appearance at their favorite saloon.

Open 7 days a week from 11am to 4pm for lunch and open evenings until 2am.
