Inn at the Roman Forum
Hotel in Rome
Small Boutique Hotel
The Inn is a wonderful hidden gem located in a tiny street just behind the Roman Forum that really impressed me from the word go.
From the extremely helpful and knowledgable lady behind the desk to the beautifully appointed rooms this hotel really delivered and made my stay in Rome so enjoyable.
Myself and my husband stayed in an Executive Room that oozed character and charm, had a massive bed, plenty of room for baggage and a well appointed bathroom. I managed to peek into a few other rooms and they all looked utterly charming. We travelled with friends who had splashed out and booked one of the two garden rooms on the top floor and they really are gorgeous and very private.
The hotel has a lovely lounge on the top floor but best of all is the wonderful rooftop terrace with stunning views over the Forum. You can have breakfast out on the terrace and it's also a perfect spot for an early evening cocktail.
A unique feature of the hotel are the ruins that are actually located inside the hotel on the ground floor.
Getting out and about was easy and a lot of the main sights were within a few minutes walk and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
