The Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach

Hotel in Palm Beach

5-Star /5 Diamond Hotel

I was really taken by this most intimate and chic ocean front resort on Palm Beach Island.

This luxury hotel is situated on one of the nicest stretches of beach in the area and offers guest an array of complimentary activities and services such as 12 Townie bikes if you fancy venturing out, a shuttle to Worth Avenue for a spot of shopping or umbrellas if you simply want to stay and relax on the beach or have access to the Spa wet areas.

All of the chic and recently restyled 210 guest rooms, including 13 suites have either a view of the ocean, even if limited or Garden view. The design is clever in so much as it gives as many rooms as possible at least a partial view of the ocean. The rooms start at a generous 392 sq ft (37 sq m) and go up to 546 sq ft (51 sq m) for a Premier Ocean-View Room. The Suites start at 685 sq ft (64 sq m) and go up to 1,370 sq ft (127 sq m) for a Deluxe Two-Bedroom Suite. The rooms share a similar decor and are brightly decorated in either a shade of blue and grey or greenish grey. They feel fresh and have a nice clean ambience not appearing to be at all cluttered. There is plenty of storage space with lots of draws and a double wardrobe. The furnishings are elegant and comfortable with a traditional wooden desk in case you need work. The rooms have iPod docking stations on the alarm/radio so you can wake up to your own tunes as well as a DVD player for the flat screen TV. The hotel even has its own DVD library. The essentials are all there including an iron and ironing board, decent hairdryer, bathrobe and of course fixed and Wi-Fi Internet access.

The recently remodelled bathrooms are beautifully fitted with light oatmeal coloured marble tiling. Every room has a walk-in shower and separate bath tub, granite vanity tops with plenty of shelves underneath, lots of counter space and L’Occitane amenities.

In addition the Suites come with a Nespresso coffee machine and deep soaking tub in a very large gorgeous bathroom!

Families & Children
The hotel has a number of adjoining as well as twin bedded rooms. Parents will be pleased to know that there is a complimentary kids program called ‘Kids for all Seasons’ that will keep the children occupied all day whilst you relax on the beach or by the pool and children under the age of 5 can eat for free.

The Spa & Fitness Centre
The Four Season Spa is a quiet little oasis located in the depths of the hotel and occupies some 11,000 sq ft. You get a sense of being under the ocean with the blue lighted ceiling and Greek marble. They have 11 treatment rooms, Jacuzzi, Steam room and a hair salon. I liked the little touches such as the wooden floor in the men’s changing room, whilst the ladies’ has a white tiled floor. They use only natural and organic products and offer a range of massages, body treatments, facials and more...

There is a comprehensive well-equipped 6,000 sq ft Fitness Centre with lots of cardio machines, a wonderful swimming pool overlooking the beach as well as two tennis courts including a free tennis social hour.

Restaurants
The Four Seasons offers 3 types of dining. The Restaurant, as it is called is open in the evenings for dinner and is a Grilled Seafood restaurant. Ocean Bistro overlooks the pool and ocean and is open for breakfast and lunch and you can choose to eat inside or outside on their terrace. The Atlantic Bar & Grill is located by the pool and is open essentially for lunch, drinks and snacks during the day.
