Luxury Island Villa Resort
This brand new luxury island resort is set in quite the most idyllic and beautiful setting in the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll.
With just 112 villas located on this 150,000 square metre island you are in for a quiet and tranquil escape from the 24/7 world we live in. This is a place to switch off your BlackBerry and iPhone and cut yourself off from the outside world for some rest and relaxation and recharge the batteries.
All of the private 50 water and 62 seafront villas are luxuriously kitted out with the most fabulous views and all have their own private pool and terrace.
There are seven types of villas, starting at 103 sq m for the entry level Beach Villa, going up to 318 sq m for the Ayada Royal Ocean Suite with its duplex design, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and spacious living area. In between you have the Ocean Villa at 108 sq m, the Beach Suite at 115 sq m, the Sunset Beach Suite also at 115 sq m, the Sunset Lagoon Suite at 156 sq m and the Sunset Ocean Suite and 172 sq m). All the villas are incredibly well equipped with a CD/DVD player and DVD library, flat screen LCD TV, iPod docking station , Wi-Fi and are of course individually air conditioned. The bathrooms are equally luxurious with a separate tub and raindrop shower. All suites have a 24 hour butler service available and the resort is also family friendly with its own kids’ club.
With seven restaurants you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to eating. The Main Restaurant Magu offers all-day dining whilst the Ocean Breeze Restaurant is a floating restaurant offering a more casual atmosphere and breathtaking views. Kai offers a wide variety of Far Eastern and Asian cuisine but it is Ile de Joie on the Wine and Cheese Island that is perfect for watching the sun set whilst enjoying a glass of wine and perhaps even a cigar. The Pool Bar Zero Degree offers you a gazebo style setting and the Lagoon Bar is a fun place in which to enjoy a cocktail or two at the end of the day. On the other hand the Ottoman Lounge is the place to go to watch the sun rise in the morning whilst sipping your morning coffee or tea.
There is also plenty to do during the day if you want to be active with the resort’s very own watersports centre which offers diving, snorkelling, surfing and water skiing to name just some of the activities.
When it comes to true relaxation though, there is nothing quite like a wonderful massage. The resort’s own AySpa which is managed by the spa consultants, ESPA offers just that and much more with its 8 treatment cabins and unique Turkish Hamman, the first of its kind in the Maldives.
