Il Salviatino is a beautifully refurbished luxury palazzo.

Immediately you draw up to the gates you feel as if you are about to leave all your worries behind you and entering a relaxing retreat.

The hotel is beautifully situated with views over Florence.  You are welcomed into the palazzo by service ambassadors who are there to make your stay as memorable as possible, the whole concept of the hotel is to give you a feeling of enterieng a friend's house.  The staff are very discreet and always on hand to be of assistance.

The rooms are beautifully furnished and from our bed we could see the Duomo.  The hotel lay on transport to take you into the centre, but the surroundings were so comfortable and relaxing we decided to stay at the hotel for dinner.  Breakfast was perfect and one of the best I have ever had, to dine with the Duomo directly infront of you takes a  lot of beating.

The whole experience was amazing and although we only stayed one evening we felt we had been away for days.
