Dragonfly Cocktail Bar
Bar in Edinburgh
Cocktail Bar
Tucked away on West Port Street in the Grassmarket is Dragonfly, one of Edinburgh’s best kept secrets.
Particularly popular as a ‘first date’ venue, this bar continues to impress the steady, yet select stream of punters who come to enjoy the ambience and creative selection of cocktails that are on offer here.
We started off the night with a fabulous Hemingway Daquairi, and moved onto Joe Le Taxi and then a Sage Against The Machine. The bar staff can whip up one of the many delicious creations from the menu or ad-lib on request and create a deliciously flavoursome tall or short to satisfy even the most unique taste buds. If you’re looking for an intimate, elegant and sophisticated cocktail bar, Dragonfly is well worth a visit to start the night in typical Edinburgh decadence.
Prices: The cocktails hover between the £6 to 8 mark, while the wines are around £15 a bottle and champagne £30 to £50 a bottle.
Dragonfly is open seven nights a week, 4pm until 1am.
