Villa Ana

Villa in Dubrovnik

Luxury Villa (7 Bedrooms/Sleeps 13)

If Dubrovnik is the pearl of the Adriatic, then Villa Ana is the pearl of Dubrovnik.

Situated 500 metres from the historic centre of Dubrovnik and a few steps away from the town’s nicest beaches, this property offers the Dubrovnik experience in the most luxurious way. The villa – consisting of 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 guest toilets, a kitchen, two terraces, a gym and a guest house with two apartments, is fully equipped in a style combining modern design with Mediterranean charm.

The rooms are light and pleasant, with nice pieces of local art. However, I find that the property’s best feature is its roof terrace with a swimming pool and dining and lounge area offering one of the most magnificent views I have ever seen.

I stayed in the villa last July, in the high season and enjoyed it tremendously. During the day it offers the rare opportunity to be in the calm, avoiding Dubrovnik’s vast inflow of tourists in the summer. I enjoyed the hot days by the pool or down on the beach, a few minutes walk. In the evening it takes only a short and pleasant walk to be in the glorious city centre. While staying there one October, we organised our after-wedding party for about fifty people on the roof terrace and it was brilliant. The outside kitchen is a great setting for private dinners or big parties with caterers. The villa comes with a maid and, optionally, with a butler, chef and driver. It is an ideal place for a wedding stay or event, special occasion or simply an unforgettable holiday with family or friends.

The villa can accommodate 8 people in the main house and additional six in the two apartments of the guest house which have their own entrance and are ideal for children or staff.

Dubrovnik is usually a summer destination, but is equally if not more charming in Spring and Autumn. There are not many places that satisfy all my appetites – for good food, relaxation, entertainment, culture, history, nature, however Dubrovnik is one of them. If you haven’t visited yet, staying in the Villa Ana will give you an unforgettable introduction to Dubrovnik. If you know the town well, you know what I am talking about. Villa Ana will just add on your fascination with it.
