Brasserie Van Baerle
Restaurant in Amsterdam
French Cuisine
Brasserie Van Baerle began as a contemporary brasserie with an international outlook.
Over the last 20 years it has become an institution in Amsterdam and far beyond with an international clientele.
The atmosphere is lively and cosmopolitan. It is certainly recommended to make reservations in advance to avoid disappointment. Due to its location near the Concert Hall and museums it is an ideal spot to dine before a performance.
Oysters are a classic here as is their Steak Tartare which is served as a main course or as a starter with morilles mayonnaise. They also offer a few special fixed priced menus. The Formule l’Entrecôte being pretty good value with a starter and main served in 2 courses and optional wine pairing. They also offer wine pairing with all the courses on the à la carte menu.
Vegetarians are well catered for as well.
Opening Hours: Sunday 12noon to 11pm; Monday 5:30pm to 11pm; Tuesday to Friday from 12noon to 11pm; Saturday 5:30pm to 11pm.
