Starwood is going all digital and is giving business travellers the ability to check in and enter their rooms using their mobile phone.  This will replace the good old key card.  A barcode will be downloaded on to the guest’s phone, which in turn will give them access to their room.  Let’s hope it works smoothly and you don’t get anyone wondering into your room at an awkward moment!

Are you often confused as to what you should tip the Bellman for getting your luggage out of the taxi, the Doorman who hails you a cab or whether you should tip the housekeeper who cleans your hotel room?
