Having attended the Press evening last night, this year’s event (16th – 19th June) should offer something for everyone with Ten Michelin Stars lined up to cook for you at Taste Of London this week, with top chefs from Britain, the Continent and all the way from Asia.  The chef’s this year include Alain Ducasse, Alex Chow, Gary Rhodes, Gwyneth Paltrow, Marcus Wareing, Michele Roux Jr as well as many others.

London Airports to get makeover

Terminal 5 at London’s Heathrow airport has been a huge improvement, almost like having a new airport (as long as you don’t see the other old terminals) and work is well underway on the new Terminal 2 replacement. However I read that yet more improvement work is being planned for both Heathrow and Gatwick with an investment of some £4 billion.

UK Government to possibly introduce regional airport tax

Passengers flying out of UK’s London airports are to possibly face higher taxes in new government proposals to deter people from using Britain’s busiest Terminals.  The government is talking about an overhaul of air taxes to help regional airports flourish more and relieve overcrowding in the South East of England.
