Kerry Christiani is an award-winning freelance travel writer, author and MA-qualified translator. She now calls Writtle in Essex home, but lived in Germany for six years and has also spent stints living in Switzerland, Greece, France and the Balearics. Kerry specialises in travel to the UK, Central and Southern Europe and Morocco. She is the author/co-author of more than a dozen Lonely Planet titles, and contributes to numerous other publications. These include magazines such as Lonely Planet Traveller, Olive, Eurostar Metropolitan and easyJet Traveller, and websites like bbc.com/travel, cnn.com and lonelyplanet.com. Kerry also carries out travel-focused translations for Giardino, Switzerland Tourism and Germanwings. Kerry's interests include wild food, outdoor activities and spas.
