Helen Ochyra is a freelance travel writer and editor who rests her itchy feet and battered suitcase in North London between trips to far-flung, exotic places such as Florida, Uluru and, er, Hampshire. Helen specialises in travel to the UK, the USA and Australia, and writes for a diverse range of publications. These have included national newspapers such as The Times and The Guardian, magazines such as Discover Britain and Malaysia Airlines’ Going Places, and websites such as Cool Places, the Honeymoon Project and Our Man on the Ground. Helen is also an author for Rough Guides and has her own iPhone app, Quirky London.
Helen flew out to the United States last October for us to put together three short videos for the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureaus which you can watch below.
