How about spending Valentine’s in perhaps one of the most romantic cities in the world, Paris at Le Royal Monceau Raffles.

The Royal Monceau is offering two special packages this Valentine’s as well as a specially prepared romantic dinner at both of its restaurants.

Do Not Disturb
Be greeted with a bottle of chilled Champagne, relax and be pampered in sheer elegance in this wonderful hotel just off The Champs-Élysées. You will be upgraded to a Junior Suite from an Executive Room where you will enjoy a specially prepared 3 course dinner and Pierre Hermé dessert. The next morning you can then enjoy a delicious breakfast in La Cuisine to set you up for a day taking in the Paris sights or if you prefer relax in the My Blend by Clarins Spa with its fabulous 23 metre swimming pool and enjoy a special Clarins gift for her.

Prices start from €980 per night, available until 19th February 2012.

Be My Valentine
This package is similar to the ‘Do Not Disturb’ but here you will be upgraded from a Studio Room and will also enjoy a black and white photography book of ‘Paris Mon Amour’.

Clarins Spa Lounge Swimming Pool

However, if you just fancy dining at either of the two restaurants, you have a choice of special couples menus at both La Cuisine and Il Carpaccio, with each course carefully prepared to share and ‘for her’ and ‘for him’, which is a lovely touch. For example at La Cuisine you can share a Caviar Osciètre, whilst for her to follow there is a Brittany Crab with light jelly and avocado cream and for him a soft boiled egg with pork belly, golden croutons and red wine sauce. Then pan-fried sea scallops for her and roasted rack of lamb for him. You will then share a dessert of caramelized puff pastry with thin layers of white chocolate, rice pudding with mascarpone cream and tender-crisp fruits with balsamic jelly vinegar.

The Il Carpaccio menu is prepared in a similar way with a sea bream carpaccio for her and a beef carpaccio for him to start, followed by some pasta to share and then a either a rump of veal with hazelnut crust or thick turbot to share. Once again you will share the dessert specially prepared by Pierre Hemé Paris, consisting of black truffle ice cream, tender almond cake with black truffle mascarpone cream and black truffle macaroon.
