Here is a selection of our Best of 2011 Photographs from around the world.

Tour Eiffel

This image I took of Le Tour Eiffel on a cold winter's evening proved popular.

Kenya

One of our team visited Kutazama Lodge in Shimba Hills, Kwale in Kenya in the Spring.

Grand Canyon

I was worried that this Indian on the very edge was going to jump, but apparently he does this regularly.  I was blown away by just how spectacular The Grand Canyon is.

Siesta Key

A visit to Florida in June and Siesta Key Beach on The Gulf Coast, which was voted the #1 Beach in the US this year by Dr Beach.

Sunset on Siesta Key

Siesta Key Beach at sunset!

Marina Jack

Kissing Sailor at Marina Jack, Sarasota, Florida.

Lower Manhattan

The calm before the storm.  I took this shot from Jersey City the evening of the earthquake that shook the North East US in August and ran from Virginia right the way up to Boston.

Broadway

Have you ever seen Broadway so empty?  This was taken at about 6pm the evening Hurricane Irene was due to hit New York on the weekend of August 27th/28th.  Manhattan shut down completely for the first time in history.

The White House

A visit to Washington DC meant that I was able to take this great picture of The White House from the top of The Hay-Adams Hotel, also capturing the Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial in the background.

London Eye

What a beautiful late summer we had in London this year.  The Thames and London Eye in all their splendour one hot October evening.
