Bordeaux’s  luxury Palace Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux & Spa is celebrating Christmas in style with a unique Repetto Christmas Tree.

The tree is covered with little Repetto touches including pink and black satin ballet shoes, golden medals and Repetto-wrapped presents.  Repetto ballet slippers has had some famous followers such as Brigitte Bardot, Catherine Deneuve and more recently Kate Moss.

I got the opportunity last Friday evening to sample the new ‘Winter Warmer’ cocktail list at The Rotunda Lounge in the London Marriott hotel which is situated in the old County Hall building on the South Bank.

The quite wonderful 2512 (Christmas Day), is the most advanced cocktail on the list!  This is Molecular Mixology at its best.

The annual World Travel Market (WTM) takes place this week at the Excel Exhibition Centre in the Docklands through until Thursday. Today (Monday) was the Press and VIP Day and tomorrow the show opens up to other visitors in the industry. With some 5,117 exhibitors and 100 events it is a huge show.
